A little history, science and a sprinkling of magic

Why your drinks stay level

It started with my grandfather, who built a one-handed tray so he could carry drinks up the stairs with a hand free for the doors. I added a little from the traditional Turkish tepsi and a folding handle, so it can help people all around the world.

  1. Free-moving pivotThe handle meets the tray at a pivot, so the tray floats instead of following your hand.
  2. Absorbs the wobbleTilts, shakes and tremors are taken up at the pivot, not passed on to your drinks.
  3. Settles back to levelLike a small pendulum, the tray finds its balance on its own.

    A life changing gadget

I walk with a cane and have been desperate for something like this my whole adult life. This has exceeded my expectations. The whole tray looks and feels nice. The folding handle (so functional!) is sturdy and comfortable to hold. The tray has really been put to the test after I ended up needing surgery and found myself walking around with crutches and an even more pronounced uneven gait. I am amazed that I can carry a whole tray of drinks and not spill a drop. Thank you so much for the Topple Tray!

    Absolute life saver

I purchased this for as a gift for my Grandpa for Christmas, who struggles with being a bit wobbly and so can’t carry things himself. He is absolutely over the moon with this tray, hasn’t stopped raving about how well-made it is and how well it works. Would 100% recommend. It’s given him back some autonomy and independence and he couldn’t be happier. Fast delivery and great service too.

    Easy to use right away

I walk with a stick and have a house on several levels which makes carrying mugs, cups, glasses etc pretty difficult. This tray is simply wonderful and worth every penny! I was originally concerned it might not be stable enough for me but thanks to its ingenious design, it’s perfect. Highly recommend it - especially for older people.

    Very useful tray

I am notorious for spilling drinks on the carpet. I saw this on the telly and thought it should do the trick. Very useful for holding 3 or 4 drinks on the tray in one hand, whilst being able to open the door. The tray is light enough not to be annoying. I like the handle mechanism, it’s easy to fold down. There is a grippy mat included that can be washed along with the tray. Overall a very useful twist on the tray.

frequently asked questions

Why are you relaunching the Topple Tray?

We're bringing back the Single Handed Topple Tray with fresh stock and improved production, driven by a genuine desire to bring this product back and help more people enjoy the independence it gives them around the home.

What's different about this version?

We've refined our supplier process to keep quality consistent, using the same stainless steel tray, metal handle and frame, and neoprene cover that customers already love. We've also made a slight redesign to save weight, which helps keep costs down.

When will orders ship?

We're aiming for February to March 2027, ideally sooner depending on demand. The more pre-orders we receive, the faster we can move, so reaching 400 pre-orders is a key milestone that helps us ship earlier.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

How long does shipping take once my order ships?

Once we begin shipping, delivery takes 7 to 10 days.

What if the relaunch doesn't reach its funding or order goal?

The Topple Tray isn't a new, unproven idea. It's an established, well reviewed product we're bringing back with better production. We're fully committed to shipping every order and pre-orders simply help us move faster. You'll get email updates at every stage, and your order is protected by our 30-day returns and 2 year warranty regardless.

Will pricing change after the relaunch?

Early relaunch pricing may be lower than our standard retail price, so ordering now is the best way to lock in the best value. The Topple Tray will be £50 in March 2027

How can I get updates on my order?

We'll email you at each key stage, order confirmation, production start, and shipping, so you always know where your tray is in the process.

Do you supply any stores?

We plan to very soon. If you have a wholesale inquiry please email info@singlehandedproducts.com
